Opterus has advanced the current state-of-the-art slit-tube boom manufacturing processes enabling autoclave quality composite booms using out of autoclave processes. These processes are low-cost, increase flexibility in boom production, and produce extremely high quality, wrinkle free surface finishes. With multiple slit tubes flown, this boom is Opterus’ most cost-effective and most compactly rolling boom offering.
