Loveland, CO – May 14, 2026 – Opterus is now fully operational in its new facility at 5645 Kitty Hawk Drive, located near the Northern Colorado Regional Airport. True to the address’s namesake, the facility reflects Opterus’ commitment to delivering innovations that advance our nation’s aerospace capabilities.
The relocation expands both Opterus’ physical footprint and its technical capacity, enabling the company to scale its space structures and deployable systems in size and production rate. The new facility features the largest space-grade composite production ovens in Colorado, a high-bay test area for large deployable systems, and upgraded environmental controls to support precision manufacturing.
With these enhancements, Opterus is positioned to deliver at higher volumes while preserving the agility that defines its research and development efforts. The investment also elevates cleanliness standards and reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality components and subsystems at scale.
To celebrate the opening, Opterus will host an open house on Thursday, June 11, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with a ribbon-cutting taking place at 4:00 PM. Partners, customers, and community members are invited to tour the new space and explore its expanded capabilities. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
